Tips for Better Sleep
If you have difficultly sleeping, you’re not alone. Today, 40 percent of Americans have sleep problems. And with increased demands from work, family, community, or financial obligations, it is harder to get a good night’s sleep.
Insomnia is defined as the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep, or a combination of both. In 80 percent of cases, insomnia is associated with additional medical problems, but it is treatable.
Maryanne Reilly-Spong, Ph.D. (pictured), and Michel Cramer-Bornemann, M.D. provide six things you can do to self-manage your sleep.
