2007 Fall Faculty Forum

The AHC Fall Faculty Forum, "Creating Successful Mentoring Relationships," was held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at McNamara Alumni Center. The day included a nationally known expert on peer mentoring, Dr. Linda Pololi and a panel of experts from across the AHC with experience in developing successful mentoring programs on various aspects of the academic role. Dr. Pololi spoke on "An Evidence-Based Approach to Effective Mentoring." The panel was moderated by Carole Bland, Professor, Assistant Dean for Faculty Development, Director of Family Medicine Clinical Research Fellowship, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, who has published on mentoring. There was also an opportunity for discussion with peers from various AHC schools.
